Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Cover Supervisor for long-term placements at a mainstream secondary school in Coventry. You will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour and keep students focused and engaged with their learning.

The successful candidate will benefit from dedicated consultants available 24/7 to support onboarding, CPD courses through the My-Progression channel, and market-leading PAYE rates.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.

The school is looking for a Cover Supervisor for long-term placements, with flexible day-to-day work also available. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
