Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in Pontypridd. The role starts in November 2026 after half term and runs until February half term 2027, delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4.

You will supervise lessons, maintain a positive learning environment and support pupils to stay engaged and on task. The position offers market-leading pay, a dedicated consultant, and ongoing CPD through My-Progression.

Cover Supervisor - Mainstream Secondary School

Location: Pontypridd

Start Date: November 2026 (After Half Term)

Salary: £110 per day

Contract: Temporary - Until February Half Term 2027 (Initially)

This is a temporary position starting in November and running until February half term 2027 initially, offering a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience within a secondary school environment.

The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, maintaining a positive classroom environment and ensuring pupils remain engaged with their learning.
