TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a confident Cover Supervisor for a welcoming mainstream secondary school in The Rhondda, Wales. Start date November 2026, temporary until February half term 2027, with daily rate £110 and PAYE payment terms.

You will supervise pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring continuity of learning and a positive, inclusive classroom environment. This temporary role offers market-leading pay, ongoing CPD through our My-Progression channel, and dedicated support

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in The Rhondda that is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their team after the October half term.

This is a temporary position starting in November and running until February half term 2027 initially, offering a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience within a secondary school environment.

The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, maintaining a positive classroom environment and ensuring pupils remain engaged with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will:

• Have previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils.
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be confident supervising classes across KS3 and KS4.
• Be adaptable, reliable and enthusiastic about supporting young people.
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Be able to follow lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning.
• Promote a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
