Job summary

TeacherActive Limited in Vale of Glamorgan seeks an experienced Cover Supervisor to support learning across KS3 and KS4. You will deliver pre-planned tasks, supervise classes, and maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in a busy secondary school environment.

The role is full-time and starts ASAP, with pay at £110 per day. You’ll join a supportive team working through a temporary placement until Christmas, with ongoing CPD opportunities and a straightforward onboarding process.

Do you have strong classroom management skills and the confidence to supervise students across different subjects?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in the Vale of Glamorgan who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school is looking for a confident and adaptable individual who can provide effective classroom cover and maintain a positive learning environment for secondary-aged pupils.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a temporary, full-time basis, starting ASAP and currently running until Christmas. The successful Cover Supervisor will provide general classroom cover, delivering pre-planned work across a range of subjects and year groups while maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils in an educational setting
• Experience supervising classes or supporting learning across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-planned work across a range of subjects
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A flexible, reliable and positive approach
