Cover Supervisor

Job summary

CER Education are recruiting a Cover Supervisor to work at a Secondary School across Wirral and Chester areas. You will have a direct impact on pupils' learning and behaviour, developing classroom management skills and building positive relationships in the school community.

Ideally you will have recent classroom-based experience with KS2/KS3/KS4 or similar, knowledge of English, Maths, Science and Design & Technology, and an Enhanced DBS (or be able to apply for one).

Qualifications

• Recent classroom based experience supporting pupils in KS2/KS3/KS4 or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of national curriculum subjects - English, Maths, Science, Design & Technology.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or be in a position to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS2/KS3/KS4 to aid learning and behaviour.
• Assist with classroom management and routines.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and the wider school community.

Location : Wirral and Chester areas

Start date : September 2026 - July 2027 Full/ part time work available - flexible

Pay rate £550 - £650 ( weekly )( inclusive of holiday pay )

Rate of pay is dependent on level of qualifications, experience, and additional training
