Job summary

Premier Education Ltd is seeking reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work on a temporary, part-time basis in secondary schools around Bury. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson plans, manage behaviour, and support students' learning while liaising with school staff for smooth transitions.

Ideal candidates may have a degree, or Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualifications, and prior experience with young people.

Qualifications

• Ideally a degree level qualification; Level 2/3 TA candidates considered.
• Experience with young people in education is desirable.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Proactive and flexible approach; passion for education.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Premier Education is seeking reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work on a temporary and part-time basis in secondary schools in and around Bury. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience in the education sector, whether you are a recent graduate, an aspiring teacher, or an experienced Cover Supervisor.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged and on task.


• Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.


• Support students with their learning and provide guidance when needed.


• Liaise with teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition of lessons.


• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.


• Able to support across the curriculum.

Requirements:

• Ideally a degree level qualification (especially for those considering a teaching career). We will also consider candidates with Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistants).


• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable.


• Strong communication and classroom management skills.


• A proactive and flexible approach to work.

Pay:

£100.00 - £130.00 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
