Job summary

Revolve Collective Limited is seeking Cover Supervisors for Birmingham secondary schools. You will supervise lessons during teacher absence, explain tasks, and maintain a focused classroom while following school procedures.

You’ll supervise lessons during teacher absence, explain the work provided and maintain a focused classroom. You’ll follow school behaviour procedures, record relevant information and leave useful feedback for the returning teacher.

Your presence sets the tone

Relevant experience includes:

• Leading or supervising groups of secondary-aged young people.
• Classroom support, tutoring, youth work, sports coaching or similar direct work with young people.
• Setting expectations, keeping a group engaged and responding to challenging behaviour.
• Clear communication and an understanding of safeguarding.

You’ll need confidence addressing a class and the ability to stay composed when pupils test boundaries.
