Job summary

The Polesworth School is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team. The role involves supervising whole classes during short-term absence and supporting students with tasks under guidance.

The post is 32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks), Monday to Friday 8:15 am – 3:15 pm, with salary £19,810–£21,451 per annum. Closing date 9:00 am Friday 2 October 2026; safeguarding commitments apply.

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join us as soon as possible. The successful candidate will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher. Under the guidance of teaching/senior staff, they will implement work programmes, manage pupil behaviour and assist pupils in relevant activities in lien with the school’s policies and procedures.
