Fakenham Academy is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our Cover Team on a permanent, part-time basis, starting ASAP. The role involves supervising classes when teachers are absent and supporting pastoral and SEND teams while maintaining a safe, orderly environment for students aged 11–16.
DBS checks and safeguarding compliance are essential. The post is 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week, and offers a SCP 7-11 pay band (£20,606–£22,356 pro rata; FTE £27,274–£29,071) with

We wish to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our Cover Team to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absence and undertaking other duties such as tutor-time supervision, break/lunch duties, providing flexible support across the school by assisting the Pastoral and SEND teams and carrying out administrative tasks when required to ensure consistent care, support, and continuity of learning for all our students.
Applicants must be adaptable and resilient with good interpersonal skills. The ability to gain the respect of students is essential.Applicants should ideally have had previous experience of working with young people between the ages of 11 to 16.
