Hearsall Community Academy in Coventry is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team on a fixed-term basis, part-time 28 hours weekly during term time plus 5 days. The role is pro rata with a Grade 4 salary.
The successful candidate will have GCSEs in English and Maths, strong communication and safeguarding knowledge, and experience in a classroom setting with primary pupils. They will model excellent behaviour and work well independently and with colleagues.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and flexible team player for this role of Cover Supervisior.
We are looking for someone who:
Has a good standard of education including English & Maths (GCSE/Level 2)
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Has experience of working within a classroom setting and with Primary aged pupils
Has excellent behaviour management skills
Can work on their own initiative and also work well as part of a team
Understands their role in safeguarding and protecting children
Is an excellent role model
All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
