Cover Supervisor - Future Teacher Programme

LOCATION: South Yorkshire - Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham

Start Date: ASAP

SALARY: £20,000 - £24,000 per annum (£100-120 PER DAY)

Are you a graduate considering a teaching career? Are you wanting to gain some classroom experience before making the leap into Education?

I am working with several mainstream Secondary schools in South Yorkshire who are looking to recruit cover supervisors on a temporary basis (with many opportunities for permanent positions). Within this role you will be leading classes of 30 students across all departments and subjects, delivering preset work and managing classroom behaviour.

Our schools are keen to support graduates as future teachers, providing support and training with behaviour management and offering opportunity to gain experience in a selected department to support with their subject specialism.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working within a school setting, be confident and demonstrate the confidence and capability to lead classes of students and manage challenge behaviour. A subject specialism would be advantageous to schools.

Contract Details

• Full time or part time roles (Monday - Friday or min. of 3 days per week).
• Working hours 8.15am - 3.30pm.
• Term time only - in line with the academic calendar.
• Salary dependent upon experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
