Teaching Personnel Sheffield is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a wide network of secondary schools throughout Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Worksop, Chesterfield, and the Hope Valley.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain engaged with the work set by teaching staff and follow each school's behaviour and safeguarding policies.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering pre-set lesson materials
Supervising classes across a variety of secondary subjects
Managing classroom behaviour effectively
Supporting students to stay focused and engaged
Maintaining a positive learning environment
Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons
No lesson planning or marking is required, making this an ideal opportunity for those looking to gain classroom experience or continue their career as a Cover Supervisor.

Have previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor
Hold a UK-recognised degree and are interested in a career in education
Have experience working with young people through coaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or similar roles

Are reliable, adaptable, and professional
Are able to travel to schools across South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas
The ability to build positive relationships with students while maintaining high expectations is essential.
