Connex Education is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Sheffield and the surrounding areas. This is a rewarding opportunity for confident communicators who want to build school-based experience, support pupils’ learning, and develop their classroom skills with ongoing guidance from Connex Education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide continuity when teachers are unavailable by delivering pre-prepared work and helping students stay focused throughout the lesson. You will work with secondary pupils across a range of subjects, supporting positive behaviour and encouraging engagement with set activities.
This role can suit graduates considering teaching, experienced education professionals, or candidates with experience in coaching, mentoring, youth work or similar settings. You will be expected to follow each school’s policies, routines and safeguarding procedures while building positive relationships with pupils and staff.
