Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Cover Supervisors to deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour and keep students aged 11 to 16 engaged and on task. Roles include day-to-day, long-term and potential permanent assignments, with competitive PAYE pay and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• CACHE Level 2/3 qualification or a minimum of 6 months' experience with young people.
• Good general knowledge of the secondary curriculum across a range of subjects.
• Confidence managing classes of students aged 11 to 16.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible and proactive approach to working across different departments and year groups.

North West/ temporary / £100 - 120 per day depending on experience

We are recruiting for Cover Supervisors to work on day-to-day, long-term and potential permanent assignments. As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students aged 11 to 16 remain motivated, engaged and on task throughout the school day. A good general knowledge of the secondary curriculum and the confidence to adapt to different subject areas will help you succeed in this rewarding role. The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• CACHE Level 2/3 qualification or a minimum of 6 months' experience working with young people
• Good general knowledge of the secondary curriculum across a range of subjects

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
