Educate Group in Macclesfield is seeking Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools with day-to-day staffing needs. You will deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour and keep students focused and engaged throughout the lesson.

This role could be ideal for you if you have experience with young people, can build positive relationships with secondary-aged pupils, and are organised, reliable and adaptable. Flexible day-to-day work and long-term placements are available.

Educate Group is recruiting Cover Supervisors in Macclesfield and the surrounding areas to support secondary schools with their day-to-day staffing needs.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining a positive learning environment when teachers are unavailable. You’ll deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged throughout the lesson.

This role could be ideal for you if you:

• Have experience working with young people
• Are confident managing a classroom
• Can build positive relationships with secondary-aged pupils
• Are organised, reliable and adaptable
• Can confidently follow lesson plans and school procedures
• Have a calm and consistent approach to behaviour management

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, youth worker, tutor or within another child-focused role is beneficial, but we’re also interested in candidates with strong transferable skills.
