Job summary

Hoop Education is recruiting Cover Supervisors for Chester and North Wales, offering flexible contract terms during term-time. You don’t need a teaching qualification—just confidence, calmness, and the ability to lead a classroom.

The role is based in Chester area with a daily rate of £105–£120 and hours 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Ideal candidates have 6+ months in child-facing roles, an updated DBS, and EWC registration or willingness to register.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or vulnerable adults.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
• EWC registration (or willingness to register).
• A calm, organised approach and excellent communication skills.
• A genuine passion for helping pupils succeed.

Responsibilities

• Delivering pre-set work in the absence of a teacher
• Maintaining a focused, respectful classroom environment
• Supporting pupils with questions and encouraging discussion
