Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking flexible Cover Supervisors for temporary part-time and full-time roles at a welcoming secondary school in Oldbury Wells. You will supervise classes, deliver prepared work, and maintain positive behaviour while supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4.

The role offers an ASAP start with flexible hours, market-leading pay, and ongoing CPD opportunities through the My-Progression channel. A dedicated consultant team is available 24/7 to assist onboarding.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils or young people is desirable.
• Confidence supervising classes across KS3/KS4 (ages 11-16).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to confidently follow lesson plans and instructions left by teaching staff.
• Proactive, reliable and adaptable approach with a genuine interest in supporting young people's education.

The school offers a supportive learning environment where staff work together to maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and pupil progress.

We are looking for Cover Supervisors for temporary part-time and full-time roles with an ASAP start, offering flexibility around your availability. As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-prepared work across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 remain focused and supported throughout their lessons.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils or young people is desirable


• Confidence supervising classes across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
