Job summary

The Housing Network in Coventry is looking for an experienced Team Leader to join a brand-new Coventry service, supporting vulnerable residents and shaping a high-quality, trauma-informed program.

You will lead a team of support professionals, supervise day-to-day operations, and collaborate with local authorities to maximise outcomes. DBS checks and commitment to equality are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, motivating and supporting a team of support professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred services.
• Strong day-to-day supervision, coaching and performance support skills.
• Experience working with vulnerable individuals and complex needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and supporting a team of support professionals to deliver high-quality, person‑centred services.
• Providing day‑to‑day supervision, coaching, performance support, and reflective practice for team members.
• Ensuring residents receive effective, strengths‑based and trauma‑informed support that promotes independence and positive outcomes.
• Maintaining oversight of safeguarding concerns, risk management, compliance, and service quality.
• Managing a small caseload of residents with complex needs and supporting them on their journey towards greater independence.
• Supporting tenancy sustainment through housing management, rent management, benefits advice, and move‑on planning.
• Building strong relationships with local authorities, statutory partners, and external agencies to maximise outcomes for residents.
• Supporting contract performance and helping ensure service objectives and targets are achieved.
