We're looking for an exceptional Country Manager to join our mission-driven team and help shape the future of quantum computing. This is a unique opportunity to lead Classiq’s expansion in the UK, driving sales, marketing, and strategic partnerships in both the enterprise and government sectors.

Classiq is revolutionizing quantum software development with an automated operating system platform that bridges the gap between high-level functional descriptions and optimized quantum circuits. Our technology enables enterprises and researchers to scale quantum solutions effectively, empowering industries such as finance, life sciences, aerospace, and government agencies.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Country Manager – UK to lead Classiq’s sales and business growth, with a focus on enterprise and government markets. This role includes responsibility for expansion into Europe and/or the US.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in B2B technology sales, particularly in selling complex technical solutions to large enterprises, Fortune 500 companies, and government organizations. Deep technical expertise is not required, but the ability to engage technical buyers (CTOs, CIOs, engineering teams) is essential.

Initially, the Country Manager will operate independently, with the potential to build a local team as the business grows. While the role does not involve direct R&D, the candidate will work closely with Classiq’s global technical and product teams to position our solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for Classiq in the UK, focusing on enterprise sales and government partnerships.
  • Identify and engage key customers across Fortune 500 companies, public sector agencies, and research institutions.
  • Lead complex sales cycles, clearly articulating Classiq’s value proposition to both technical and business decision-makers.
  • Expand Classiq’s presence in Europe and/or the US, aligning with broader growth objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic deals and long-term partnerships.
  • Marketing & Industry Positioning
  • Develop and oversee local marketing initiatives, ensuring Classiq’s visibility in the UK market.
  • Engage with government bodies, industry leaders, and research institutions to establish Classiq as a quantum computing leader.
  • Represent Classiq at key industry conferences, government events, and technical forums.
  • Strategic Growth & Expansion
  • Work closely with Classiq’s leadership to scale UK operations, with future potential for team expansion.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and drive recurring business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure customer success.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record in B2B sales and business development, preferably in deep-tech, SaaS, or enterprise software.
  • Strong experience in selling complex technical solutions to technical buyers (CTOs, CIOs, engineering teams).
  • Existing industry connections in Fortune 500 enterprises, financial services, aerospace, pharma, and/or government agencies are a plus.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with future potential to build and lead a team.
  • Experience in multi-region sales (UK + Europe or UK + US) preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
