Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver for a fresh produce operation in Nottingham. You will operate a Counterbalance FLT, move stock around the warehouse and yard, and assist with loading and unloading vehicles.

This temporary role offers flexible shifts, ongoing work, and long-term opportunities for reliable hours. A valid Counterbalance FLT licence and experience in warehouse or food production are essential; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months' recent experience in a warehouse, logistics or food production environment.
• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Practical experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift.
• Ability to carry out manual handling, including lifting items up to 10kg.
• Willingness to work in chilled warehouse conditions.
• Reliable and positive approach to work.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety.

Job Description

We're currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers for an established fresh produce operation in Nottingham.

With flexible shifts, regular ongoing work and the potential for long-term employment, this is a great opportunity for an experienced FLT Driver looking for dependable hours.

The Role

Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you'll play an important role in keeping stock moving safely and efficiently.

Your duties will include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift
• Moving stock throughout the warehouse and yard
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Replenishing storage areas
• Supporting the wider warehouse operation
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Following all Health & Safety procedures

This is a fast-paced environment where you'll need to work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy.
