Job summary

Quest Employment are recruiting for Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Leicester. This is a full-time, ongoing role with immediate starts available and a steady day shift.

You will safely operate a Counterbalance forklift, handle loading and unloading, move stock around the site and support production teams while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence – essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence – essential.
• Previous FLT experience preferred.
• Experience in warehouse/manufacturing/food production advantageous.
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and vehicles.
• Moving stock, raw materials and finished products around the site.
• Moving pallets to designated storage and production areas.
• Supporting warehouse and production teams when required.
• Completing relevant paperwork and following site procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
• Following all company policies and site safety procedures.

Location: Leicester, LE1
Pay Rate: £13.42 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:00
Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Start Date: Immediate starts available

Key Responsibilities
