Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver in Aston, Birmingham. The role starts with training on the 8:00am - 4:00pm shift, then moves to the 2:00pm - 10:30pm shift, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will operate a Counterbalance FLT, load/unload containers, move stock, and support warehouse operations. A valid FLT licence and reliable, punctual work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence required.
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in a warehouse.
• Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail.
• Willing to assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Counterbalance FLT Driver - Aston

Location: Aston, Birmingham
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Training Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our client's busy warehouse operation in Aston.

The successful candidate will initially complete a period of training on the 8:00am - 4:00pm shift. Following successful completion of training, the role will move to the 2:00pm - 10:30pm shift, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently

• Loading and unloading containers

• Moving pallets and goods throughout the warehouse

• Assisting with order fulfilment

• Picking, sorting and organising stock

• Moving and positioning stock within the warehouse

• Supporting general warehouse operations as required

• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence

• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT

• Previous warehouse experience

• Experience loading and unloading containers would be advantageous

• Reliable and punctual

• Good attention to detail

• Able to work effectively as part of a team

• Willing to assist with general warehouse duties when required

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
