Job summary

Simply Jobsworth in Kidderminster is seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to support a busy warehouse operation. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, load and unload vehicles, move stock, and ensure a safe, clean working environment.

The role offers a temporary-to-permanent contract, with competitive pay (£13.50–£14.50 per hour), weekly pay, and immediate starts for the right candidate. Previous forklift experience and a valid counterbalance licence are essential.

• Experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift in warehouse/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

FLT Counterbalance Driver

Location: Kidderminster
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Until the end of 2026 if not longer.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a busy and well-established warehouse operation in Kidderminster.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual seeking ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse
• Stacking and storing goods accurately in designated locations
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

• Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or equivalent)
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
