Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced FLT Driver with a Counterbalance licence for a Ripley, Derbyshire site. This full-time role offers ongoing work, weekly pay, and immediate start, with a busy warehouse environment prioritising safety and teamwork.

You will operate Counterbalance forklifts, load and unload vehicles, and assist with general warehouse duties as required. The role includes early and late shifts with a Monday-to-Friday pattern and the potential for long-term employment.

The Role

As an FLT Driver, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring stock is moved safely and efficiently while supporting the wider logistics team. This is a varied role where you'll spend the majority of your shift operating forklift trucks, alongside general warehouse duties when required.

• Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles.
• Moving stock between warehouse locations.
• Putting stock away into designated storage areas.
• Picking customer orders accurately using FLT equipment.
• Supplying production or dispatch areas with materials.
• Completing pre-use vehicle safety inspections.
• Working to productivity and accuracy targets.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Following all company health and safety procedures at all times.
• Supporting colleagues and assisting with general warehouse duties when required.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to FridayRotating weekly:
• Early Shift: 6:00am – 14.00pm
• Late Shift: 14.00pm – 10:00pm
