Job Description

Turner & Townsend alinea is seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for our Real Estate team to support blue-chip clients in achieving their global workplace goals. This role offers the chance to work with a third of the Fortune 500 companies and grow within a market-leading organization.

Candidates should be self-motivated, client-facing, capable of managing multiple projects and clients, and skilled in client relations, advanced Excel modeling, functional cost planning, and value engineering for CAT A and CAT B fit outs. The role is primarily pre-construction, with opportunities to assist on construction projects.

The position involves working with a team of Cost Managers alongside external architects, interior designers, and engineers.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Utilize and contribute to Turner & Townsend alinea’s digital tools, developing new bespoke tools for clients

• Perform advanced cost modeling using Excel

• Estimate and perform functional cost planning using CostX

• Advise on and drive value engineering initiatives

• Coordinate with internal economists, clients, and other consultants

• Engage with senior leadership of Fortune 500 companies

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high-quality cost management and quantity surveying services on Cat A and Cat B fit outs for corporate clients

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for cost modeling

• Knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools is advantageous

• Experience with digital software for cost management services

• Ability to manage multiple projects successfully

• Working towards a professional qualification (e.g., RICS)

• Degree or HNC qualification
