Job Description

We are seeking personable, enthusiastic, and energetic Cost Managers/Quantity Surveyors to join our UK Infrastructure team, supporting our growth in the water/utilities sector. You will work on various client and internal projects, contributing to our vision and making a difference in UK infrastructure.

Job Objectives

• Contribute to Turner & Townsend's 2025 vision
• Establish professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and project stakeholders
• Administer contracts aligned with project objectives and policies
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting
• Manage cost variances, cash flow, and timely applications
• Collaborate with teams on project delivery, KPIs, and objectives
• Manage contract changes and ensure governance and best practices
• Improve forecast and budget accuracy
• Provide commercial support and knowledge to stakeholders
• Negotiate and finalize final accounts
• Lead as needed in people and project management

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have experience or understanding in:

• Excellent communication skills
• Contract management (NEC3, Option C preferred)
• Cost management and change control
• Valuation, risk management, procurement, estimating, pricing, reporting
• Collaborative approach and sharing best practices
• People management and project efficiencies
• Technical knowledge of construction industry practices
• Degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent)
• Professional body membership or working towards it
