Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Engineering Director to lead cost management across major UK capital programmes. You will shape strategy, drive cost forecasting, and provide strategic commercial insight to clients and delivery teams, ensuring alignment with governance and investment decisions.

You will oversee multidisciplinary cost engineering teams, establish robust cost management frameworks, and collaborate with project controls, procurement and finance to deliver high-quality cost

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Cost Engineering, Cost Management and Project Controls within large-scale capital programmes.
• Proven track record leading cost management teams across infrastructure, energy or industrial developments.
• Strong understanding of integration between cost, schedule, risk, scope and commercial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of cost engineering solutions across projects, programmes and portfolios.
• Establish cost baselines, CBS, budgets and performance measurement frameworks.
• Prepare and review estimates, forecasts and cost assurance deliverables.
• Provide strategic cost insights, identify risks and opportunities for executive decision-making.
• Drive governance, reporting and data analytics for cost management.
