Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Engineering Director to lead cost management across major UK capital programmes within Energy & Natural Resources. You will drive best-practice cost engineering, governance and reporting, while guiding senior stakeholder decisions and enhancing delivery across projects and portfolios.

The role demands strategic cost insight, leadership of multidisciplinary teams and a strong track record in cost estimation, forecasting and control frameworks to support

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Cost Engineering, Cost Management and Project Controls across major capital programmes.
• Proven ability to lead cost engineering teams and deliver across infrastructure, energy, natural resources or industrial developments.
• Strong understanding of integrating cost with schedule, risk and commercial management to enable delivery.
• Experience advising executives on cost performance, risk and commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of best-practice cost engineering solutions across projects, programmes and portfolios.
• Develop cost management strategies, governance, CBS and cost baselines.
• Oversee estimates, forecasting, earned value and performance reporting.
• Provide strategic cost insights and identify risks and opportunities for investment decisions.
