Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Cost Engineering Professional to establish cost and schedule baselines, monitor performance, and manage changes. You will lead governance, coordinate with cost managers, and guide the contractor while ensuring value for money and timely updates.

Responsibilities include reporting, risk assessment, procurement coordination, and master scheduling with vendors and clients to achieve project objectives and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls coordination across the full lifecycle.
• Ability to determine corrective actions based on data facts.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Primavera P6.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Reliable, autonomous and capable of teamwork.
• Motivated to deliver high value to clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends and root causes of deviations against baseline and drive remedial actions.
• Lead evaluation of time, cost and quality targets with governance controls.
• Cooperate with remote cost managers to achieve a market-tested baseline.
• Guide the contractor to progress according to schedule and cash flow.
• Act as client contact for delivery issues and prepare formal reports.
• Control costs with conceptual estimating and funding stage gates.
• Create cost reports and executive dashboards.
• Lead change management processes and workflows with clients.
• Coordinate planning sessions to compile master project schedules and baselines.
• Collate vendor lead times and communicate priority for materials and equipment.
• Work with client to define vendor schedule requirements and manage risks.
• Incorporate project changes and notify the team for approvals.
• Hold vendors accountable for timely schedule updates and quality.
