Job summary

News UK is seeking a qualified corporate reporting professional to join our Corporate Reporting team. You will support US GAAP/UK reporting, balance sheet analysis, and complex consolidation for News UK and its subsidiaries.

This role focuses on ASC606/ASC842, audit liaison, and driving process improvements with automation and TM1/onestream experience. You will work with Finance and Tax teams to deliver timely statements and participate in strategic reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualified with CIMA/ACA/ACCA.
Experience with financial statements and consolidations.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Supervise and assist offshore team.

Responsibilities

Prepare balance sheet analytical review and consolidation adjustments for US Corporate submissions.
Assist with UK sub-consolidation and intercompany balance reporting.
Respond to ad hoc reporting queries and audit requests.
Oversee US GAAP adjustments such as ASC606/ASC842 in the relevant systems.
Ensure intercompany balances and transactions are correctly reported.
Support audit processes and data provision for group reporting deadlines.
