Commify-Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Group Reporting Accountant to join the Group Finance team. You will hold ultimate accountability for the accuracy of our reported numbers, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, and you will run both monthly and annual consolidations with a focus on technical accounting areas.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or by experience) with 2+ years PQE.
• Strong knowledge of group consolidations, intercompany accounting, and IFRS in a multi-entity international business.
• AI tools understanding to drive efficiency in day-to-day work.
• Advanced Excel skills; NetSuite and Prophix experience are beneficial.
• Delivery: able to manage multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines.
• AI literacy and tool fluency to leverage domain AI tools.
• Workflow and prompting: structure inputs to extract accurate outputs from AI.
• Output validation: evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Monthly & annual consolidation: run the consolidations in Prophix and own the consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Planning & forecasting: manage the consolidated balance sheet and cash flow for budgets and forecasts.
• Year-end & statutory reporting: support year-end consolidation, prepare IFRS group accounts and UK entity reports.
• Technical accounting ownership: IFRS SME, IFRS 16, intercompany, ECL model, intercompany loans.
• Policy & governance: maintain group policies, monitor IFRS changes, write technical position papers.
• M&A accounting: handle PPA, fair value adjustments, opening balances and goodwill testing.
• Controls & process improvement: monitor close controls and drive improvements.
• Subsidiary support: guide local finance teams on postings and compliance.
• Audit, tax & governance: assist external audit, liaise with tax advisors.
• Ad hoc: support the Group Financial Controller on strategic tasks.
