Job summary

Oculus Legal Group is seeking a seasoned Corporate & Commercial Director to join its senior team in Worcester. The role blends high‑quality legal work with business development, client relationship management and team leadership within a leading regional firm.

You will manage a varied caseload, advise on M&A, governance and contracts, and help grow the Worcester practice. A strong client following or potential to develop one is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with significant Corporate & Commercial experience.
• Strong experience across both corporate and commercial work.
• Existing client following or clear ability to develop one.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied Corporate & Commercial caseload.
• Advise business owners, companies, directors, shareholders and partnerships.
• Handle business sales, acquisitions, M&A, asset and share purchases.
• Advise on company restructures, governance and shareholder arrangements.
• Draft and advise on commercial contracts, including supply, distribution, service and franchise agreements.
• Deal with LLP and partnership agreements.
• Provide practical commercial advice across a broad range of business matters.
• Develop existing client and referrer relationships.
• Generate new business and build a personal following.
• Strengthen the Corporate & Commercial offering in Worcester.
• Help develop and manage the junior members of the team.
• Work closely with the wider senior team across the firm's offices.

A well-established Top 100 law firm is looking for an experienced Corporate & Commercial Director to join its senior team in Worcester.

This is a senior opportunity for someone who wants to combine high-quality legal work with business development and team building. The Worcester office already has an established client base and strong presence in the local market, but is looking to strengthen its senior Corporate & Commercial offering with the appointment of a Director.

• Manage a varied Corporate & Commercial caseload
