Executive Network Legal Limited, based in the West Midlands, seeks a Corporate & Commercial Director with 8+ years PQE to take a leading role in shaping the firm’s practice and direction. You will advise on M&A, business sales, governance, and commercial contracts, building lasting relationships with business owners and advisers.

Qualifications

• Ability to build relationships with business leaders and advisers within the region.

Responsibilities

Corporate & Commercial Director, 8+ Years PQE, West Midlands, £90,000+ (DOE) – This is an opportunity for an ambitious Corporate & Commercial lawyer to take a leading role in the next chapter of a growing law firm. REF:5280.

THE ROLE:

• We're looking for an established senior lawyer who wants more than simply a busy caseload.
• Someone who wants the freedom to shape their practice, develop meaningful client relationships and have a genuine voice in the direction of a successful Corporate & Commercial team.
• As a Director, you'll have the opportunity to make your mark both within the firm and in the wider regional business community.
• You’ll work with a diverse range of ambitious businesses, business owners and entrepreneurs, advising on significant transactions and providing practical commercial guidance throughout the life of their businesses.
• Your experience will span areas such as M&A, business sales and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, shareholder arrangements, partnerships and LLPs, governance and commercial contracts.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Applications are sought from solicitors with 8+ years' PQE who has established themselves as a credible and commercially minded Corporate & Commercial lawyer.
• Has substantial experience advising businesses and their owners across a broad Corporate & Commercial caseload
• Has an established following or a proven ability to originate work and turn relationships into long-term clients
• Is commercially driven and sees business development as an integral part of senior legal practice
• Has the confidence and credibility to build relationships with business leaders and professional advisers
• Enjoys working autonomously while recognising the value of a collaborative, full-service firm
• Wants to contribute to the development of colleagues and share their experience with others
• Has strong connections within the region and is comfortable building relationships across our office network
