Simpson Judge in Manchester is seeking a Corporate Associate for a hybrid role at 1–4 PQE. The role involves handling cross-border, complex and high-value transactions across mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and investments.

You will support senior lawyers, develop professional client relationships, and help grow the team’s business and profile through marketing events and other BD activities. You’ll also manage and supervise trainees.

• 1–4 PQE as Corporate Associate in Manchester
• Excellent drafting skills and ability to translate legal theory into practical advice
• Ambitious with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong client-facing business advisory skills

Corporate Associate | Hybrid | 1-4 PQE | Manchester

A highly rated firm are looking for a qualified professional to join their Corporate team at Associate level. This role gives the chance to work on cross-border, complex and high-value transacations. This firm invests heavily in training and legal tech tools, so you’ll have excellent opportunities to keep developing as a corporate lawyer.

It’s a broad-based role covering, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and investments. You’ll provide efficient support to the senior lawyers in the team, build professional client relationships, and help the wider team grow the business and raise the firm’s profile through marketing events and other BD activity. You’ll also manage and supervise the work of others, including trainees.

Candidate Profile:

You’ll have excellent drafting skills and the ability to turn legal theory into practical advice. You’ll be ambitious, with an entrepreneurial mindset, and have the interpersonal and business advisory skills needed for a client-facing role.
