Job summary

Manchester-based international law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its established team. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious Corporate lawyers to develop technical expertise and take on greater responsibility within a high-quality practice.

The Corporate team advises on domestic and cross-border transactions across sectors, with strong cross-border exposure and clear career progression within a Legal 500 recognised firm.

Qualifications

• 1-5 PQE in corporate law.
• Experience in M&A, private equity and ECM.
• International law firm experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on varied corporate transactions including M&A, PE, and ECM.
• Gain exposure to domestic and cross-border deals.
• Collaborate with Partners and senior lawyers on complex matters.
• Take meaningful responsibility for matters and client relationships early.
• Advise diverse clients across multiple sectors.
• Contribute to business development and client relations in Manchester.

• Gain exposure to both domestic and cross-border transactions
• Work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers on complex and commercially significant matters
• Take meaningful responsibility for matters and client relationships from an early stage
• Advise a diverse client base across a broad range of sectors
• Develop your technical expertise through exposure to sophisticated and varied corporate work
• Play an active role in the continued growth and development of the Manchester Corporate team
