You will lead day-to-day delivery of M&A and corporate transactions, draft key documents, mentor junior lawyers, and contribute to business development while building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with 4-6 years PQE.
• Strong experience advising on corporate transactions, particularly M&A.
• Track record leading transactions with senior support.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of M&A, private equity and other corporate transactions, with support from Partners and Principal Associates.
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents and manage deals from start to finish.
• Work with colleagues across teams and offices to give clients seamless service on complex matters.
• Build trusted client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout transactions.
• Support and supervise junior lawyers, helping them develop their technical and professional skills.
• Take an active role in business development, networking and marketing.
• Contribute to the continued growth and success of the Manchester Corporate team and the wider national practice.

A nationally recognised firm are looking for an ambitious and experienced Corporate solicitor to join their team as a Senior Associate. This role will see you work with a diverse portfolio of clients, from high-growth start ups to established businesses, investors and institutions. Becoming part of the established Manchester team, this role incorporates high quality work, strong partner support and genuine career progression. Furthermore, many matters have an international element, providing exposure to varied transactions.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified solicitor with 4-6 years PQE
• Strong experience advising on corporate transactions, particularly M&A
• A track record of running transactions as the lead day-to-day fee earner, with senior support where needed
• Commercially minded, with excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Enthusiastic about developing new business and growing your professional network
• A collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting junior colleagues
