Job summary

South East Water is seeking a Cornerstone LMS Lead to drive technical configuration, audit, and optimisation of our Cornerstone OnDemand platform for a major regulatory project. You’ll map, build and deliver training and compliance for ~150 critical water quality roles, resolve legacy configurations, and enhance Workday integration while mentoring a junior colleague.

You will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure technical feasibility, automate competency rules, and improve reporting

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) Certified Administrator status is strongly preferred.
• Deep technical expertise in Cornerstone modules (Learning, Performance, Core, LAT, Competencies).
• Ability to coach technical concepts and train less experienced administrators effectively.
• Analytical ability to audit setups, isolate root causes, and implement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Audit the Cornerstone setup to identify configuration issues and performance problems.
• Lead complex system issue resolution and implement high-standard fixes.
• Perform routine data hygiene tasks and maintain data cleanliness.
• Assess requirements to migrate to the Compliance Hub and configure role-based training.
• Configure automated, role-based training assignments and robust compliance tracking.
• Plan and execute phased transitions to new compliance systems without disruption.
• Configure complex training rules and prerequisites (e.g., safety parameters).
• Automate career progression and automate competency checks.
• Design and build out reports to avoid setup mismatches and reporting errors.
• Prepare and validate the annual performance cycle (I reviews).
• Configure and verify reporting and performance management workflows.
• Upskill and coach a Junior Cornerstone Specialist; delegate tasks as skills grow.
• Delegate routine maintenance and basic reporting to the junior team member.
• Review configurations and reports for quality assurance and data integrity.
• Monitor and maintain Workday-Cornerstone integration and data flow.
