Job description

We are seeking to appoint experienced Doctors as Core Clinical Fellows in Emergency Medicine for maternity cover.

Main duties of the job
  1. Provide clinical care during daytime, evening, and night shifts in Resus, Majors, Minors, and Paediatric ED.
  2. Assess and resuscitate sick patients, including emergency procedures and investigations.
  3. Support departmental leadership overnight, working closely with the Nurse-in-charge and junior doctors.

Experience
  • Essential: 24 months NHS experience and successful completion of a 2-year Foundation Training Programme.
  • Desirable: Training or planning to train in an acute specialty.
Knowledge
  • Essential: Knowledge of Emergency Medicine.
Qualifications
  • Essential: MBBS or equivalent, full GMC registration with license to practice.
  • Desirable: Higher Degree, MRCS, MRCP, MRCPCH, or ALS certification.
