Our client is looking for a dedicated, motivated doctor that specialises in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. This post provides an excellent opportunity for an SHO or Registrar that wants to develop their career and skills within Emergency Medicine.
The Trust is offering the following rotational posts:
•3 months Paediatric ED followed by 3 months General Paediatrics
•6 months Paediatric ED
•3 months Paediatric ED followed by 3 months Adult ED
This post offers:
•MScs: Master's Degree in Emergency Medicine; MSc Resuscitation and Emergencies (QMUL
Emergency Medicine); MSc Trauma (QMUL Trauma Surgery)
•Study leave allowance and expenses for Emergency Medicine Courses
•Bi weekly teaching built into the rota for all doctors
•3 months of fully furnished accommodation (for those relocating from> 150 mile radius)
•Management time built in the rota
The selected course offered by the trust is Level 1 Core Emergency Ultrasound. In return the post holder must have at least 18 months experience in an Emergency Medicine/Paediatric Medicine post FY2 equivalent and a full license to practise with the GMC.
Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice.
For candidates who reside abroad you must have completed the necessary language test (IELTS / OET / NARIC) before applying. You must be able to satisfy the language test requirements of the UKVI remit.
Additional Information
This is a fixed term 12 month post with a potential to extend. This post consists of on average 48 hours per week and attracts a 1a banding (50%). The Trust offers 27 days of annual leave + bank holidays.
