Job summary

Holmes Care Group is seeking a Cook for our care home in the United Kingdom. You will prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals, accommodate dietary requirements, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.

As a key member of the kitchen team, you will manage stock, assist with menu planning, and uphold food hygiene and regulatory requirements. This role offers progression opportunities and staff benefits within a supportive, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Cook and ability to accommodate dietary requirements.
• Hold Food Hygiene Certificates and be aware of relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Produce varied, tasty menus while considering dietary needs.
• Prepare and serve meals and maintain cleanliness.
• Clean and wash up after meals and ensure kitchen hygiene.
• Guide and coach kitchen staff and manage stock/replenishment.
• Maintain Food Health and Safety documentation and records.
