Job summary

Holmes Care Group in Scotland is seeking an experienced Cook to provide nutritious, home cooked meals for residents while upholding high standards of cleanliness and health and safety.

You will design varied menus, accommodate dietary requirements, manage kitchen stock and lead the kitchen team, ensuring documentation meets food hygiene regulations. This is a permanent role with benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cook with ability to accommodate dietary requirements.
• Hold relevant Food Hygiene Certificates and be aware of regulations.
• Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Produce varied, tasty menus for residents.
• Prepare and serve meals.
• Manage stock and orders.
• Ensure Food Health and Safety documentation is up to date.
• Guide and coach kitchen staff.
