Job summary

Bield Housing and Care in Glasgow is seeking a Cook to join our team at Loch Laidon Court. You will prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met and delivered with high standards. This part-time, on-site role supports a community-focused housing service for tenants.

You’ll work 35 hours over two weeks with two weekend shifts and a half-hour break, in a friendly, supportive environment that values quality, nutrition and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering and managing dietary requirements.
• Ability to work as part of a team to provide high-quality meals.
• Ability to manage food budgets and ordering.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible meals service with high quality meals and value for money for tenants.
• Assist with the ordering, purchasing and storing of food within the budget.
• Ensure food hygiene and health and safety standards are met.
• Prepare, cook and serve meals daily as part of a team.
