Job summary

Agincare Group is seeking a chef for a care home in Fareham, Hampshire. Youll craft meals that meet dietary needs and create themed dining experiences, bringing comfort, connection and joy to residents every day.

Youll help develop daily menus, support kitchen operations, and uphold high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation at all times. This role operates on a bank/zero-hour contract with day shifts and alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• 12 months on your right to work.
• Experience in a professional kitchen and understanding of kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable).
• Available to work day shifts and alternate weekends.

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
• Experience in a professional kitchen and an understanding of kitchen operations
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable)
• Available to work day shifts and alternate weekends
• Please note this is currently a bank / zero hour contract

About the role:

Whether its crafting delicious meals that meet individual dietary needs, creating themed dining experiences that bring the home to life, or simply serving a favourite dish that reminds someone of home, youll be making a real difference every day.

Using your culinary skills and food knowledge, youll help create daily menus, support the organisation and smooth running of the kitchen, and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation are maintained at all times.
