Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Bank Cook in High Wycombe to craft meals meeting dietary needs and comfort residents with delicious, home-style dishes.

You will plan daily menus, oversee kitchen operations, maintain high standards of hygiene and food quality, and work across shifts with flexibility. Experience in a professional kitchen and understanding of kitchen operations are essential, with IDDSI knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months right to work
• Experience in a professional kitchen and an understanding of kitchen operations
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable)
• Bank Cook to cover a mix of shifts as and when required

Responsibilities

• Craft delicious meals that meet individual dietary needs and create themed dining experiences that feel homely
• Help create daily menus and support the smooth running of the kitchen
• Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation at all times
• Contribute to making a real difference for residents through teamwork and care
