Job summary

Agincare is seeking a skilled chef for Nightingale care home in England to craft meals that meet individual dietary needs and create themed dining experiences that bring a home-like feel to residents. You will use your culinary talents to brighten daily life with creativity and care.

Plan daily menus, support kitchen operations, and maintain top standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation. You will work two 8-hour shifts weekly from 7:00am to 3:00pm on a two-week rota, with shifts on

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 months right to work.
  • Experience in a professional kitchen and an understanding of kitchen operations.
  • Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Craft delicious meals that meet individual dietary needs and themed dining experiences.
  • Create daily menus and support the organisation and smooth running of the kitchen.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation at all times.

What is required from you?
  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
  • Experience in a professional kitchen and an understanding of kitchen operations
  • Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements is desirable
  • This role is two 8 hour shifts per week working from 7.00am - 3.00pm on a two week rolling rota as follows:
  • Week 1: Saturday and Sunday
  • Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday
About The Role

Using your culinary skills and food knowledge, you'll help create daily menus, support the organisation and smooth running of the kitchen, and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation are maintained at all times.
