Job summary

Agincare Group in Poole, Dorset, is seeking a chef for a bank/zero-hour contract at our Poole care home. You will craft meals meeting individual dietary needs, create themed dining experiences, and contribute to a warm, homely dining atmosphere for residents.

You''ll manage daily menus, support kitchen operations, uphold high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation, and benefit from training up to QCF level 5, with a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen.
• Understanding of kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable).

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
• Experience in a professional kitchen and an understanding of kitchen operations
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable)
• Available to work day shifts and alternate weekends
• Please note this is a bank / zero hour contract

About the role

Whether its crafting delicious meals that meet individual dietary needs, creating themed dining experiences that bring the home to life, or simply serving a favourite dish that reminds someone of home, youll be making a real difference every day.

Using your culinary skills and food knowledge, youll help create daily menus, support the organisation and smooth running of the kitchen, and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation are maintained at all times.
