Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Chef on a bank/zero-hour contract at a Poole care home. You will craft meals meeting dietary needs and create themed dining experiences that bring a sense of home to residents.

You’ll support daily menu planning, ensure high standards of hygiene and food quality, and collaborate with the team to deliver comforting, nutritious meals in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work.
• Experience in a professional kitchen and an understanding of kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of the IDDSI framework or experience supporting complex dietary requirements (desirable).
• Available to work day shifts and alternate weekends.
• Please note this is a bank / zero hour contract

Using your culinary skills and food knowledge, you’ll help create daily menus, support the organisation and smooth running of the kitchen, and ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation are maintained at all times.
