Our soon-to-open care home, The Willows, is looking for a Cook to join their team, cooking for our residents Monday to Friday between the hours of 9-3.

The Cook is an essential part of our team, providing nutritious, hearty foods for our service users.

About Us

The Bramley Health Group is a leading provider of specialist health and social care services in London and the Southeast. We focus on supporting individuals with complex needs to live fulfilling lives through outcome-focused care pathways.

The home will support 23 males, aiming to create a safe, enriching environment where every resident feels valued and supported.

About The Role

Nutrition is vital in providing the best care to our service users. The Cook will ensure that dietary and cultural requirements are met, demonstrating a genuine interest in the wellbeing of our residents by serving meals that adhere to these guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing nutritious meals for service users in line with guidelines and requirements
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and equipment
• Maintaining inventory of kitchen equipment and supplies
• Utilising knowledge of HACCP and current food regulations
• Interacting with service users to reflect their food choices

Key Skills

• Food hygiene level 2 certification
• Previous experience in food preparation within a commercial, domestic, hospital, or care setting
• A warm, approachable personality to engage with service users and vulnerable adults
• Ability to manage the kitchen independently, including cleanliness
