Evelyn Partners, a UK leader in wealth management, invites applications for an Operations Executive – COO & CASS Oversight on a 12-month FTC based in Glasgow. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and a broad view of Operations.

You will support risk and control activities and assist audits, with opportunities to impact processes and compliance. Ideal candidates show a keen interest in financial services, solid Excel skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with senior teams

Qualifications

• Demonstrable interest in financial services.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication with senior audiences.
• Ability to summarise complex information concisely and accurately.
• Organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines with a flexible approach.
• Respond to queries with a high level of customer service.
• Prior CASS experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in financial services operations is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• COO error tracking - ensuring actions are completed and risk event system updated with P&L info.
• Assist audits (internal & external) and track associated actions.
• Assist with COO error and complaint investigations, track preventive actions.
• Assist with transaction reporting monitoring, operational losses allocation and reconciliation.
• Assist with user access reviews for internal systems and external platforms.
• Monitor and maintain the COO Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
