Job summary

Conveyancing Direct Property Lawyers, part of the Connells Group, is seeking a Conveyancing Team Manager in Manchester. You will lead a team of Associates and Property Lawyers, providing coaching and ensuring high-quality service for clients.

You'll bring qualified conveyancing experience (Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or CILEX), plus previous people management or a readiness to move into management. A collaborative leadership style and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

As a Conveyancing Team Manager, you'll lead a team of Associates and Property Lawyers, ensuring they have the support, guidance and coaching needed to perform at their best.

• Leading, motivating and developing a team of Property Lawyers and Associates to achieve individual and team objectives.


• Managing team capacity, workflow and performance to ensure service levels and business targets are achieved.


• Conducting regular one-to-ones, coaching sessions and performance reviews to support development and engagement.


• Reviewing files prior to exchange to ensure legal, regulatory and company standards are consistently met.


• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while mentoring colleagues to reach their full potential.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or CILEX professional.


• Minimum five years' conveyancing experience with strong technical and legal knowledge.


• Previous people management, team leadership or coaching experience, or a desire to take the first step into management.


• Excellent communication, organisation, planning and problem-solving skills.


• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate, develop and inspire colleagues.
